Millions of children are in need of warm clothes, coats, and blankets just to get through the day-to-day hardship that the cold weather brings. Wrapping a winter blanket around a cold and hungry child is the best way to show what we all need to do to make sure the right people get humanitarian aid in response to a winter appeal.
The threat of winter puts already struggling countries in even more vulnerable conditions, which is why we established our Winter Appeal. Millions of lives are lost to treatable viruses and infections that are rife during the winter months. Your donation can help make a difference.
For millions of people, day to day life could be a struggle especially in this weather condition, trying to survive is a battle, staying warm, keeping safe and feeding themselves and their loved ones.

What Are We Doing to Help?
We use your donations to help India, give aid to Yemen, provide help to poor families in Pakistan, and much more. In aid of winter crisis across the globe, including the Syria winter crisis, we provide families with warmth packs, cooked meals, and winter aid survival packs.
Without our Syrian winter clothes appeal and the supply of survival packs, we would see so many more vulnerable people deprived of food, shelter and healthcare. It is our goal to eliminate these struggles from people’s lives and give them a chance to prosper.
Children in need of clothes will receive gifts of warmth and winter blankets. Our winter coat appeal aims to make sure every man, woman and child has a thick winter coat to help stave off the worst of the freezing temperatures. Our winter blanket appeal aims to help every man, woman and child have a blanket to wrap themselves up in at night to keep off the night-time chills.
Winter Emergency Aid
The teams of Swiss Barakah Charity will be on site to distribute bread, hot meals, blankets and winter packages with life-saving items.
