We pool donations to the ‘Orphans and Education’ project area so that support reaches every child we work with, not just the ones who happen to be matched with a sponsor. This avoids a situation where two children in the same community receive different levels of help simply because one was “chosen” and the other wasn’t.

Yes. Barakah Charity UK is a registered charity (Charity Number 1201226). If you are a UK taxpayer, you can tick the Gift Aid box in the donation form so that we can claim Gift Aid on your donation.
You don’t have to commit to a monthly sponsorship to support orphaned children. You can also make a one-time donation to our Orphans and Education fund.
This project is funded through donations to the ‘Orphans and Education’ project area. In addition to the above project, your donation will support the commitment of the entire project area.
