Orphans and education
An estimated 5,700 more children become orphans every day. The little ones suffer most from conflict and natural disasters and are most disadvantaged by poverty, disease, stigma and medical need.
We are passionate about the children in Malawi. We are working step by step to help them achieve a better standard of living.
The first step was the basic renovation of the completely run-down orphanage and the construction of a fountain for clean drinking water.
Next, we would also like to renovate the individual dormitories and equip them with beds.
More than 260 million children worldwide did not attend school in 2016.
